We discovered this amazing one-off work while on a trip to South Africa.

The Heartworks Embroidery Project in Cape Town creates opportunities for women to earn an income, working from home. Each cushion is unique, beautifully patterned with animals, people, houses, flowers and other whimsical imagery, with every inch of fabric covered with a wonderful array of exquisite hand stitching.
